Sitat fra Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Nigerias finansminister fra 2003 til 2006 i hennes tale på TED-konferansen tidligere i år:

“What we started to realise was that we had to reform ourselves. With the support of a leader that was willing to do the reforms, which we developed for ourselves. Not the IMF, not the World Bank.”

“We put together a program that would, get the state out of businesses it had no business being in. The State should not be in the business of producing goods and services because it is inefficient and incompetent.

Jeg foreslår at Norge leier inn Okonjo-Iweala som teknisk bistand til Heidi Grande Røys i Fornyelsesdepartementet (hvis gjerning til nå har bestått i å bygge opp monopoler).
